When Phosphates are present in your pool, it is absolutely necessary to treat the pool
Phosphate is a vital plant nutrient and the presence in swimming pools can cause accelerated algae growth in poorly maintained pools. Even in Properly maintained pools when Higher levels of phosphates are present they can make algae control more difficult and increase the amount of chemicals used to maintain your pool.Phosphates can enter the pool water from such sources as fertilizers, mineral treatment chemicals, decaying plant matter, acid rain, well water, bird dropping and many other things.
A phosphate treatment is done for an additional fee, and when the treatment is complete if you do not have a spare filter cartridge you will be required to purchase a new one. The treatment will leave a film on the old cartridge and not allow it to work efficiently.
We will test for phosphates in your pool yearly, or if a problem arises.
Stain treatments are done for an additional fee and can be done without draining the pool. It all depends on how bad the stains are.
Sometimes when the pool is older, you may think you have staining when it is the finish of the pool pitting. Due to the finish wearing off. At this point we would recommend having your pool refinished.
